A small bottle-shaped bud vase, wheel-thrown and finished with my signature pour-glaze method. Glossy teal and blush pink are broken up by patches of bare clay that give the surface the feel of a shoreline at low tide. Each pour lands differently, so no two vases are the same. The interior is glazed in teal, and the narrow neck holds a single stem or a few dried sprigs.
Details
Handmade from a warm brown stoneware and fired to cone 6. The bare clay areas are intentional and have a warm, sandy texture that contrasts with the glossy glaze. Because each piece is handmade, glaze patterns, size, and color will vary slightly from what's pictured.
Care
The interior is glazed and watertight, so it's ready for fresh flowers. Hand washing is recommended. Use a bottle brush or a rinse with warm, soapy water.
